By accessing or using DaysBack ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

DaysBack is a debt management and tracking application that helps users visualise and plan their journey to becoming debt-free. The Service provides:

• Debt tracking and progress visualisation
• Repayment strategy recommendations (Avalanche and Snowball methods)
• Interest savings calculations
• Payment streaks and milestone tracking
• Financial tools (Interest Burner, Overpayment Squeezer, Windfall Wizard)
• Educational resources about debt management

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must not share your account credentials with others
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use automated methods to access or collect data from the Service
• Upload malicious code or content

6. Pro Subscription

• Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
• Refunds: Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase
• Price Changes: We will notify existing subscribers 30 days before any price increase
• Free Tier: Core features will always remain free

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of DaysBack are owned by DaysBack and are protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DaysBack and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. This includes, but is not limited to, financial decisions made based on the Service's calculations.

9. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access
• We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features with notice
• We are not liable for any loss due to service downtime

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using DaysBack, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described therein.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access immediately, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
